Lake reflects golden

sun: orbited, people run

along arched outlines.

Couples, easy talk.

Strollers pass in careful walk.

Skipped stones fly supine.

As one-way wheels hold

well-spaced pawls, as small gametes

margin curved egg walls.

Sometimes, parts align,

just as clock hands or kid’s twine

circumscribe round things.
